Description

Welaka is throwing a Halloween parade, and the floats are golf carts. The Welaka Halloween Spooktacular is Friday, October 23. The golf cart parade rolls out of Mason Newstead Park at 6:00 PM with Chief Bryant leading the route. Yes, that is a police escort for a ghost driving a golf cart. Then everybody heads back to the park for Trunk or Treat at 7:00 PM.

Here is what the town is asking of you: Decorate the cart. Lights, cobwebs, a skeleton riding shotgun. Go all the way in. Wear the costume. Grown-ups too. Bring candy for the kids. A lot of it. They have been training for this. No cart? You have time to fix that. Ours are street legal, and we bring them to you in Welaka.
